Tewksbury First Aid & Rescue Squad was established in 1990 by dedicated volunteers who served our community through other fire, first aid and rescue services. We have been providing excellence in prehospital care for over three decades. Our prehospital services range from Basic Life Support (BLS) to extrication of patients involved in motor vehicle accidents to various other forms of rescue services. We currently have two BLS units (ambulances), 2 first responders, 1 Gator for off road rescue/transport and 1 rescue unit. Our membership currently consists of approximately 40 EMTs, drivers and cadets whose efforts result in 100% free service to Tewksbury Township citizens and guests. These dedicated volunteers hold various positions within the squad, participate in different committees and fulfill all of the training and continuing education required to serve the Township.
